I Am Unhappily Married

I have come to the conclusion that I'm only still with my husband because I take anti depressants.

I'm very sorry to hear this. In my experience it's never about the other person. When I wasn't happy in my relationships it was always because of me. I had to face what I really wanted and had to find the courage to do what's best for me.

Can I ask you if you stayed because of everyone else do you think they would be happy? Kids pretty much learned from what you do more than what you say.

It's always about the two. No one person shares blame for a marriage or relationship going wrong. One is often more to blame than the other but it's both parties.

My kids love their dad and I know I do too but I don't long for him any more. He can be quite controlling without knowing it and I am wired to rebel.
I've been a single parent before, my eldest has since left home and I find myself in another unhappy relationship. It's been unhappy for a long time but I've just got on with it for the kids' sake.
My husband adores me and our kids, everything he does is for us.

@ravenwind43: of course in any relationship it's always about all that are involved. I'm talking about when the one or the other person in the relationship doesn't feel the same way they did, it's never about the other person. There's something going on inside the person who doesn't feel the same way anymore. I hope that made some sense to somebody.
