Sexless marriages are often the reasons for disturbed bedrooms in the later years of partnership..

Why is it that men start to fuse off post 50s while the women are in their total prime and want exciting action but unfortunately are either made to cut off the horns in the most unsaid ways or they are questioned about her rapidly increasing social activities.. why do you think the men lobby out there doesn't approve of it while it is the most critical ask of the women in the most craving years of her biological progression?

Much love 💕

Going by all the men that end up in my inbox I would say it’s the opposite. The wives don’t want to have s e x anymore so they look for it elsewhere.

@iamonfire696 I’m not at all surprised.

I found EP while searching for answers about the sexless marriage that I was in. While not uniquely a male situation, I was shocked by how many men were living a life like my own…sexless, completely devoid of any physical intimacy, and trying to cope with the reality of the situation that they found themselves in.

@blackarcher256 that’s why I think it’s more men in this situation. As a woman in that type of marriage I understand but I certainly see more men.

@iamonfire696 Sorry you’re in that type of marriage. In my own search for answers, I found that sexless marriages are very very common. When my marriage fell apart, the grief counselor I was seeing said that studies show it affects 50% of marriages.

@blackarcher256 I would agree with that number for sure.

@iamonfire696 I was shocked….especially looking at all the married couples of my parent’s generation that had been married since they were teenagers….if the percentage was true, how did the marriages like mine survive?

@blackarcher256 people just don’t get divorced 🤷🏼‍♀️

@iamonfire696 shrug….you’re right. I just couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t shut that part of me off….or pretend that it didn’t matter.The final straw was when my ex moved into one of the empty bedrooms in our house. I asked her if that was her way of telling me that we were just roommates now? She just shrugged off the question and that was the last we ever spoke of it….or really of anything of substance.
