Why is it so hard to find a sugar daddy

I've tried so hard to find a sugar daddy but everyone so far has been an obvious scammer. Why is it so hard? I would make an amazing sugar baby. I think I'm smart, funny, passionate, and interesting. Everyone has their flaws but surely someone would want to get to know me and help me out financially. I'm not even being greedy either. I'd argue all sugar babies are looking for more than just money. I've been on the dating scene for months now and most men my age are only interested in one night stands or have the personality of a brick. I want to get to know someone and grow a new relationship out of being a sugar baby too! I get that most arrangements have nsfw elements but I could become comfortable with that down the line too. I just don't go shouting it fron the rooftops. That's the joy of getting to know someone.

Don’t know. I’m old. Back in the day we took pride in making it on our own. Using someone for whatever reason, including money, even in an “exchange of services” type sugar baby arrangement, simply isn’t something I could do without losing my self respect.

@OlderSometimesWiser Self-respect is measured in different ways. We all need to be wanted. It gives one a sense of relevance in the world in which we reside. It's about self-worth that is measurable in dollar terms.

@sree251 To each their own. Self worth measured in dollars, particularly in this situation, to me is no self worth at all. It only serves to denigrate a person’s true value which, to borrow from the biblical, is worth far more than rubies.

@OlderSometimesWiser When Jesus told us that there is more to life than bread (i.e. US Dollars) alone, he was evoking a way we cannot go. To live as Jesus did is a denial of a reality we have become. The only necessity that comes from God is air. Everything else - food, clothing, or shelter - comes from Caesar.

@OlderSometimesWiser i take pride in how i make it (which is cancer research). But talking to some rich old person and dropping em feet pics for some extra cash isnt really something that would compromise my dignity
