A girl from across-block neighborhood (12-13 yrs old) rang the bell and came to me today morning to greet me as she held me as a DADDY since last two years ...
Actually, her father had demised in COVID and I had covered her food and education ,,,clothing, and some expense money.
I was overwhelmed by her emotions

that's very kind of you. people like you are hard to find nowadays. even own family members don't help us during hard times. she is a lucky girl to have someone like you in her life.

@lakshsony it is actually working two ways.. She may have found a support inadvertently.
BUT I am an orphan and have no one to call my family. As such i have to make a family, so might as well adopt a baby..... till she grows up I can call her my own. later maybe not????????ha ha
