I have mental health issues and I was looking for someone who could financially provide for me while I worked through my mental health issues and finished my proofreading and editing certificates to find freelance work. I don’t need any hate but I don’t want to have to rely on my parents anymore for money.

I'm not applying for the job, LOL, but I do have one piece of career advice for your freelancing. If you can build up experience and expertise in a specific technical field, then you'll be much more in demand as a proofreader or copyeditor. It could be anything--arts (I have a relative who is an editor and proofreader for museum catalogs and art journals), finance, computers, travel, anything. But then you'll be in demand for anyone who needs help in that area, and you can market your services by attending conferences for that specific field. Good luck to you!

@JonUK31 there are courses called knowadays.com courses called becoming a proofreader and becoming an editor if you score 80% or higher on the final exams, you are guaranteed work on a trial basis with proofed. ( formatting, editing, proofreading company) if you pass the trial period, you can become a full fledged freelancer on their platform and take longer and more complex documents.
