Why should I be? Especially since I didn't choose much of my early experiences. And, what I've done since has helped me appreciate myself more than I did before.

I chose my path and I was ashamed at first. Then it hurt too much to deny who I really wanted to be. I've grown to accept and enjoy it since then.
