Is being in a committed sexless relationship better or worse than being alone?

It's a good question.
I'm sure many stay together for the comfort of knowing there's always somebody there.
Like some kind of emotional support blanket.
Which I guess is fine if it works both ways.

There's some people you would rather have in your life than not - therefore you are prepared to reach compromises.

It probably depends on the person. For some it might be.
