I Need Dating Advice

I need advice. A family friend has a son 2 years older than me and he asked my dad if we can go out. My dad agreed but I do not want to go but if I refuse it might make things awkward.
What do I do?

You should be open and honest. Let your dad know what you're feeling. That is if you think you can talk to him. Secondly, give the guy a chance. Maybe it'll end up becoming something real nice that you didn't expect.
I'm sure this is way late. But let me know how it went.
