What is the right age for teen boys to date? [I Need Dating Advice]

Okay, my 14 year old nephew wants to date. .. My sister told me that he likes a girl who is his friend, and she likes him too. In my opinion, I think he's too young and should wait. What's your opinion on this?

Puberty. It's a problem. They like each other so they'll get together at school and, outside of school, they'll lie to your sister and the girl's parents about where they are and what they're doing. Better to allow them to date and coordinate with the girl's parents regarding supervision. There's a level of trust that needs to be given to them after they've had "the talk." If they break that trust, they need to understand there will be consequences. If all the parents encourage the kids to talk to them, they'll be fine. It's all part of giving the right guidance as a child grows into adulthood.
