What is the right age for teen boys to date? [I Need Dating Advice]

Okay, my 14 year old nephew wants to date. .. My sister told me that he likes a girl who is his friend, and she likes him too. In my opinion, I think he's too young and should wait. What's your opinion on this?

A "date" at 14 consists mainly of walking to Starbucks together after school and asking your parents to take you to a movie. lol. At least that's what it meant when I was 14. I don't think it's that big of a deal. What passes for a "date" at that age is hardly serious.
