Faith in Relationships

How important is it to your that you partner (or future partner) be fully aligned with you religious faith or belief system ?
Is it a deal breaker?

For agnostic and atheist people, is the faith of a potential partner an impediment to a relationship ?

Christians constantly try to align faith with atheists and often use the old thought experiment about "faith" in a partner. Atheists don't deal in faith. You're attempting to sneak the notion of faith through the back door. I don't "have faith" in a partner. It doesn't cross my mind that she'll cheat on me. Faith doesn't come into the relationship.

@Richard65 I'm not sneaking anything into anywhere. The question is straight forward and easily understood.

I was born and raised as an Irish Catholic, but have left the church and haven't returned since my teen years.
I believe there is a God, I just don't prescribe to any type of organized religion.

This question is simply to ask people if Faith / Religion is a deal breaker for them or not when it comes to trying to have a loving / romantic relationship with someone.

Commonality on a belief system is really important if it is part of what defines you. There are people I've not dated as it transpired we were on very different wavelengths. Although hard in hindsight it was the right decision.
