Only human nature to be bitter; nothing wrong with that.
We think of it as "wasted time", and ask ourselves; "Is the hurt worth it?"
Well, as I said in another post if we don't experience hurt, how are we to appreciate gratification, like what we get in a relationship that works out?
Breakups are very rough, but they're supposed to be.
But you're right, every day things get a little better, and you have to look at that as one day closer to being really happy in a relationship that will give you happiness.

So true, and glad you’ve come around. I’ve had my heart broken. unfortunately, I’ve broken a couple of hearts myself. Either side it’s painful. Now I’m with a much healthier person. post break up it’s hard to believe someone amazing will eventually step in to your life. Hang in there.

@Mindful thank you. I've found out a lot about myself - including that I was an arrogant, self centred, selfish little madam and not as perfect as I thought I was!

You’re lucky to be able to recognize that. Some people live in blindness @OnlyRhonda

@Mindful It was not an easy thing to recognise! Anyway, many - most - of my troubles were my own fault. Knowing that, I should not repeat them.

So true...and good for you!

@pelman0011 It's been a hard road and I was bitter for most of it.

I totally agree with you
