It's not only a great way to deal with high temperatures, but hanging out with others naked or in underwear is a symbol of openness, relaxation and comfort with your own and each other's flaws.
Years ago I video chatted with a lady friend almost every day and she would often sit in just a towel after a bath. When adjusting that, she'd sometimes flash me and when it was time to get dressed she was perfectly comfortable doing that in front of her laptop with me watching.
