Ain't No Big Thing

Race? What we're born into.

Relationships? What we decide.

Inter? Goin' from one to the other, or in the middle.

No big deal. My bis sis is with an older black woman, y'know? It's cool.

Being on the other side, the child of a different race of parents? That was a little tough at times. I was seen as the 'family friend' rather than the child at times. But I know that that is just me, rather than what the majority of people in these relationships experience.

I still think it's beyond a good idea, it's almost like it's not even a conscious thought.

It should be seen as no big thing.

Couldn't agree more! Sorry for the difficult experiences you had growing up, but sounds like you're dealing with them and are well adjusted now. I'm a white male who has primarily had relationships with white women because that's who I was around mostly, but I've learned I'm hugely attracted to black females and hope to find one who becomes a special close friend and so much more.
