In her defense, since you hide your age, it's not like she had any way of anticipating how likely her overtures were to be well-received. And people date widely outside their age range all the time, anyway.

Might behoove you to indicate 18–21 on your profile, then. Plus if you start chatting with younger women, they might assume you're some pervy granddad who's embarrassed about his age.
