Marriage made sense for raising a family .. until the divorce started. Never say never, but I'm not seeing a reason looking forward that would compel me to do it again.

@rolex928 There is some truth there. Statistics would suggest most marriages fail outright, given failure rates for first and second or higher marriages. Of those that stay together a significant % of them are ~ sexless and/or unhappy, or worse. Truly successful/ happy/ healthy marriages are an exception, by far, rather than the rule.
As a result, a committed relationship without a marriage starts to make more sense after a divorce than remarrying if raising kids is not involved. That assumes you can even find a new committed relationship.
I'm not ruling anything out and admit my perspective may well change with time and/or the right person and situation.
