I also heard of a person marrying a tree. My guess is that they are doing this for the publicity and social media hits and people will take notice of them and they'll get paid to go on talk shows etc. I dislike it for too many reasons to mention but thankfully i don't think it'll become popular.

@SW-User I always wonder, who is willing to marry them ? And how is a marriage even possible when one of the “partners” can’t consent ? 🤔

@bijouxbroussard I totally agree. I thought marriage was a legally recognised commitment between two consenting people so i wonder how it can be made official?
