A few weeks ago I got a text from a fellow we invited for Christmas last year.

He asked if I was home. I said yes. He texted back that he was coming over right away. A few minutes later he was on the doorstep and we asked him in. He sat and chatted for a few minutes and then told us the real reason he was over. He wanted our blessing on he marrying our daughter. We gave him our blessing and he drove away begging us not to tell our daughter that he had been over. A week went by and I got an excited text from our daughter. "I'm Engaged" it read.
