My friends I used to hang out with, I just feel like we don’t have nothing in common anymore. 😢😔

Back then, we had a ball together!!! My best friend and I met them in summer camp of 2003 and we’ve all been inseparable ever since! Back in the day we all used to have a ball together! We hung out sometimes we all hung out together but yeah. Am I school we were still inseparable but we kind of went our separate ways but we still had a ball together but after we all graduated from high school we also went on separate ways. It was really hard to stay in contact because we all have busy lives but then I think three years ago, we all talked it was great to talk to each other again but not everyone including my best friend can make it which I understand. Only three of us spoke. No I’ll try to keep everyone together but a lot don’t seem interested anymore. It’s really hard to keep everyone together some just stop speaking to me. I haven’t spoken to my best friend in like six months and that’s really hard. I know we all live in different states and some still live here but still. I want it all worse to hang out like we did back in the old days. I mean I get that we all have a careers, jobs and some are even married and still have kids of their own which I totally get it but I just want us to hang out again. I just can’t seem to let go of the past and I cry when I think of our childhood and I miss it so much. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

It happens to everyone. Especially in Western countries. People move so much. Not everydoes every stage in life at the same time so some others with kids prefer mostly child related activities.
Some others get into extreme lifestyles that they can't share with you.
Some become super career focused. You can't recreate the past. You must move on with your life and accept that others may not feel that same pull that you feel because they are making new friends and they don't long for the past.
I know that not everyone moves on and makes new friends at the same rate as others.
But this is sadly part of life.

@REMsleep I know. I know us growing apart is part of life but it hurts really bad. When I look at all her pictures and we don’t have to worry about work and stuff like that I cry about it. I just want to be a kid again and not worry about responsibilities at work but we gotta move forward.

@ElizabethBabe1994 Don't spend too much time longing for what you can't have because you will miss what you have now. Thats a common saying but its so true. One day you will have wrinkles and maybe get fatter or get thin hair or loose your memory. Live dear girl. Live right now and enjoy the possibilities.
