Tell me if any of these stats are a shocker, or sound about right (for the US)

25% of Men ages 40-50 are childless. 17% of Men have never been married by the time they're in their 40s. 60% of men (ages 15+) are fathers. 72% of them are biological.

@MntoNc more like they are realizing how fucked up this world is and don't want to raise kids in it, at least that's a good portion for me to be 40 and childless

@MntoNc responsibility is a big part of it too,
Another big factor for me is my fucked up genetics, I wouldn't want to be reponsible for passing them on, and then my kid recieving them and having as hard a life as I have had.

In addition, because of my genetics I knew my income was going to severely limit my income, and I'm Not going to have a kid and not be able to support them

I was born with Spina bifida, birth rate is about 1:100

Modern birth rate for Autism is 1:10
