What will you do with your stimulus check ?

After Congress passed a new Covid-19 relief bill late Monday, millions of Americans are set to receive a new round of direct payments.

For most recipients, the checks will be smaller than those sent out in the previous Covid-19 aid package, but still a welcome sight to Americans struggling through the pandemic economy.

Individuals who made up to $75,000 in 2019 will receive $600. Married couples who earned up to $150,000 will receive $1,200. Filers listed as "head of household" and who earned $112,500 or less will also get $600. And families will receive an additional $600 — up from $500 in the spring — for each dependent under 18 in the household.

Has anyone mentioned that Trump hasn't signed the bill for this yet? He left for Florida an hour or so ago. ugh
@SW-User he's probably going to veto it. And even if he doesn't he has 10 days to sign it

@Callmewhatyouwill It’s an Omnibus type bill, he can switch things around on that bill to benefit Americans if he chooses to.

@cherokeepatti he already is. Or he can veto it or sign it as is. But either way he has 10 day by law to make that decision. Already has them upping the checks to 2000 which is bullshit.

@JAYS21 in my opinion is wasteful and will only cause more debt and inflation. It's not good for economy long term.
