Do you / did you go through your spouse's stuff when you first met them?

My wife told me when we first met, she went through my stuff when I wasn't home. It was my house and she didn't live with me at the time. She went through everything. She told me this was right after we got married, decades ago...She said it was just her curiosity of what she would find.....
