How can ANYONE be excited about turning 30???

How can anyone be excited about turning 30?! I dread turning 30! I'm not even married or have kids, plus you'll no longer be classified as a youth! I want my youth back! I have five more years until I'm 30! I don't wanna be 30!!!! I wanna stay 20s. My dad says I'm getting old. My brothers say, "Damn we're getting old. You can't say, "Damn you guys are old!" Anymore because you're close to being 30. So you can't talk."
Why do you dread turning 30?

I was kinda different, but I was super excited to turn 30. I looked forward to it for years. I just never looked at being in your 20s as being an actual adult and I thought when I turned 30, I'd have a little more "age related authority". I actually love my 30s. In my case, in this stage of my life I make better money, I have more freedom, I am more self assured... Just things that had to come with time.

It sounds cliche, but every year really is a gift that isn't promised and not received by all. Just enjoy!
