I Am Married

So today was mine and hubbies 14th wedding anniversary and yet I havant seen him all day as his been working not that I am too bother as we stopped getting each other cards years ago and don’t really celebrate unless we have a bit of spare money and he randomly takes me for a meal, sometimes I do wish he had put more of an effort years ago doing the whole yearly gifts you give each other every year but he didn’t and when he decided he wanted to I didn’t because I thought why should I?

I have brought him gifts and didn’t revive anything and brought him cards and not even wrote them out to be honest I even forgot it was our wedding anniversary today lol we always forgot I guess what’s what happened when it’s been such a long time 🤷‍♀️

Having been there it’s not too late. It’s not the big efforts but the little ones that count. Hopefully you both can have a chat and try to rekindle that fire. It is well worth it.
Yeah maybe who knows.. I think in the end you just give up trying @Livingwell

@LittleTinks Like I said...the communication comes first. Both sides need to agree that a little more effort is required from each party before you both become resentful and drift apart. All it takes is a hidden note, unexpected card, a nice night out, a gift card, doing a chore without asking, a small neck kiss when one walks by. It really is the little things that matter😋
Very true 😏@Livingwell
