@DunDunDun In traditional weddings, does the father still give the bride away where you live?
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie I don't care about tradition, that doesn't make it okay to objectify them.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@DunDunDun Are you trolling or are you really that stupid
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@TheRascallyOne The fact that you really think someone would have to either be stupid or just kidding to say women aren't property says a lot, jeez what's wrong with people
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@DunDunDun Nobody said women are property its the show respect to the family the let them know that you're the up Sincere If you ask
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@TheRascallyOne right, makes sense
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TheRascallyOne I agree and I think old school respect is the way to go.
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie nothing like some old school sexism
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@DunDunDun Is it sexist to ask the father of the bride for his blessings? Please explain.
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie yes, and I don't need to explain something that obvious
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@DunDunDun I’m dumb so please explain. Just 25 words or less.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@SimplyTracie she is a self centered child/troll just ignore her
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie You really see yourself as nothing more than a slave for men don't you lol, a random guy tells you to ignore me and your response is basically just like, "yes master"
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@DunDunDun I think you’ve watched too many Lifetime movies. Husbands and wives are co-equals these days.
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie How is a man asking a woman's dad if he can marry his daughter treating both sexes as equals? That literally makes no sense.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@DunDunDun I don’t think that has anything to do with equality. Asking for her dads blessings is just a respectful gesture.

In marriage, I believe husband and wife are equals.
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie Right, totally not sexist at all.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@DunDunDun That is my opinion.

I assume you would be utterly offended if your fiancé asked your dad for his blessings. You would not condone such silliness. Am I right?
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie I wouldn't want a man to view me as property no. It doesn't matter what your opinion is, doesn't change the meaning of sexism.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@DunDunDun So if your fiancé asked your dad for his blessings, he is a sexist? I will have to rethink the definition of sexism.
DunDunDun · 22-25, F
@SimplyTracie yeah, he would be
