How are People who do not marry are viewed in the society you live in?

Is it necessary to marry ?

I don't think it's a problem if you are unmarried in the US. In fact, I think it's become increasingly popular to have a family with a partner without being married. I am 47, and have never been married.

@SW-User yes but how are People without family viewed.. marraige is anyways not just on a peice paper..

@Firstnlastlove I've had many ask me why I never married. I simply tell them, I am proud to say I haven't been divorced three times. :) I live with my boyfriend and we do not have kids.
