I don’t regret it because that would mean regretting my children.
I do, however, wish I had spent a few years on my own. I really feel like I missed an important step in my development of as an adult by not discovering who I was before making a lifelong commitment. I’ve never put myself first or taken care of my own needs alone.

@ProdigalSummer Sorry to ask personal question how old were You? My sister got married at 19 and she doesn't look happy.

@RadiantRuby 20. I was happy for the first 10-15 years and then numb for a few. In the past two, I’ve accepted that my marriage is troubled and the odds are about even if we’ll last.
