Why is interracial marriage a problem?

Some people are still backwards like that.😟 Not for me though--they're not a problem in my book.

It's not the race, but the cultural differences that creates problem. Cultural differences come with food, lifestyle, the way you dress and the way you carry yourself. So, there arrives a point where one side does the compromise and the other doesn't. That's what causes the problem. I mean if you are just putting up with differences and not just accepting it wholeheartedly, things won't stay intact for long. It requires a balance from both ends. It requires more maturity to deal with such relationships. If everything is sorted, nothing can cause a problem. What other say about the couple, doesn't really matter if they know what they are doing and where they are going.

I keep hearing about these people with these problems. I live in the deep deep south, and even here no one would dare admit they had a problem with mixed marriages! I know it's colorful where 'I' have Sunday dinner! From alabaster to chocolate around our dinner table at least once a week. There's some folks here that say I'm a fecking racist, but I get the feeling there are a lot of racists in their worlds.

Because they're narrow minded.

A lot has to do with different cultures/values/beliefs. Sometimes they conflict and causes tension in the relationship. But race itself should never cause a problem.
