So marriage with two people who have no control over being married = real.

Marriage with two people who have full control over being married = not real.

I fail to see the logic in that.

they make it a marriage. they stay committed. they arent acting like single people with the benefits of a marriage.

@theowl: Yea I think we are just going to have to disagree on this one. To me, people forced to marry disregard the whole point of a marriage. To be with someone you love and trust.

Open-marriage people my have sex outside of marriage, but they still are in a marriage by virtue of wanting to be there.
