its more of a living arrangement. like living with your female best friend who you also bang once in a while and maybe have kids with, you can still screw other people but you know that you will still have help with the bills, you just gotta think about it realistically is all. the tax breaks help to i guess.

@theowl: and "couples just starting out" are always selected first for the better more accommodating living arrangements. there are many benefits to meeting certain criteria. in canada a frenchman who can mumble just a few words of english is considered bilingual but it is not the other way around.
