This is a repetitive theme in my relationship posts, so apologies for going over the same points.

It is possible to be attracted to somebody while supporting them.

It is possible to be attracted to somebody while consoling them.

It is possible to be attracted to somebody while caring about them.

But

It is not possible to be attracted to somebody while caring for them.

There's a difference. A startling difference.

The same difference between you thinking about someone and thinking for someone.

In the second case they've stopped taking responsibility for themselves and you've had to take over.
