To all Christians and those seeking to build a strong marriage.

Remember that marriage is a sacred union instituted by Christ, and as such, it requires faithfulness, commitment, and selflessness. As Christ is the head of the home, He should be the center of your marriage. Seek His guidance and wisdom in all aspects of your relationship.

Marriage is also a beautiful reflection of God's love and grace, and it requires effort and dedication from both partners. Embrace the vows you make to each other, and strive to build a relationship that honors Christ. Also, may it honor your spouse. Marriage is not to be controlled by either partner, but Christ said to love your partner as He loves His Church, and that is with so much love and dedication.

To those seeking to marry, remember that marriage is a lifelong journey, not a destination. It takes hard work, communication, and a willingness to grow together. Keep Christ at the center, and He will bless your union abundantly.

Marriage is indeed a beautiful union, and Christ-centered marriages are truly blessed. Don't forget that a successful marriage not only requires love, commitment, honesty, and faithfulness, but also communication, understanding, and patience.

May God bless your marriage and may it be a testament and reflection of God's love, faithfulness, and grace, and may you always seek to glorify Him in your relationship.

Jesus saved my marriage back in 05 when my husband lost his companies and turned to drugs, while I was pregnant with our daughter...It was awful...But then when it all came crashing down, I cried for three days ultimately for the Lord, and His crucifixion because I was falling again....Then while I was listening to the Christian radio station the DJ said I don't know how I know this, he was hesitant for a second but then he said knock knock...Boo...Boo who, why are you crying??? I thought about it, I was crying for my husband and our marriage, I was crying about my past and my pastor, and I was crying about Jesus dying for me on the cross!!!! Then there was a knock on my real door....A 7 foot tall aboriginal man was standing there he said " Hi I am a Christian and I am hungry may I come in and eat?" I was intimidated but said yes and all I had was a large piece of steak and brown beans, and we ate!! Just like in the book of Revalation's 3:20-Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Matthew 25:34, 35-34Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in,…What we do to the least of these we have done to HIM! Just blew me away!!! Made the word come alive in real life! The body of Christ! Then the children from all over North America started to prophecy over the Christian Radio station, saying That there is a young lady who just wishes that someone would just touch her and view her as a gift...Inner beauty comes from a calm and gentle spirit, He who is without sin cast the first stone, and those who call upon the Lord He will show them great and mighty things that of which you did not know!!! I saw the light from Heaven the billows of clouds and my husband, When I spoke to my husband what I heard the children speak I grabbed my throat for the words came out powerfully and very softly like a tongue of and Angel a calm and gentle spirit possesed my voice, and I spoke in tongues of men, or children in this case and told my husband what the children from all over North America had said...He looked at me like as if he had just seen a ghost, and said you know you've almost got me convinced, and I told him I'm just telling him what I heard...He quit doing drugs that night and we moved out of the city and our marriage was saved!!!! But you know what those children spoke to my heart, what was true to me and my husband at that time, and also what was true between me and God Himself, because God touches me, and I know He views me as a gift because He makes movies of my life His eye is on me, I want God to view me as a gift and to touch me, inner beauty comes from a calm and gentle spirit soo soo true, Jesus is without sin and would never cast a stone and the whole old testament and new testament are indeed God breathed because it came out like breathing so so soft and yet overwhelmingly powerful! So yea I believe because He made me believe~ God is real life! Saved my marriage been married for 24 years!

I don't understand where you say Christ instituted marriage.

"The best available evidence suggests that it's about 4,350 years old. For thousands of years before that, most anthropologists believe, families consisted of loosely organized groups of as many as 30 people, with several male leaders, multiple women shared by them, and children.

As hunter-gatherers settled down into agrarian civilizations, society had a need for more stable arrangements. The first recorded evidence of marriage ceremonies uniting one woman and one man dates from about 2350 B.C., in Mesopotamia.

Over the next several hundred years, marriage evolved into a widespread institution embraced by the ancient Hebrews, Greeks, and Romans. But back then, marriage had little to do with love or with religion."

@LadyGrace The Bible does have contradictions and inconsistencies in it.

It has enormous amounts of imagery, poetry and symbolism in it, resulting in differing interpretations because of the different approaches to cultural norms.

Even when we talk about the Bible, there are differences in different versions of the Bible. There are differences in the number of Books in Bibles of at least two of the mainstream Christian Churches.

Anyone who says there is only one true Bible denies the simple Truth that God is beyond all of our understanding and that we need openness and humility to accept that.
@Zeusdelight

A lot of people feel the same. I think what I'll do and I think it needs to be done as well, is address these in a post and then I'll send you the link. I really appreciate your beliefs on this. I hope others will be as respectful as you have been in our discussion. Thank you for that. There's really no need for people to argue here when they can simply discuss these things in an amicable and friendly manner. I have really enjoyed hearing your opinion on everything we discussed and I think it's important, just as you are.

Amen sister, such an important exposition on marriage!

Keep Christ at the center, and He will bless your union abundantly.

I can confirm this is absolutely the case, I've had some very complex situations, but this is the ultimate answer!

@BritishFailedAesthetic My wife's art teacher painted on a large smooth rock a triangle with God at the top and my bride and m at the opposite corners. The message was that the closer we got to God, the closer we got to each other.
@daydeeo That's a good idea! Very nice!
@BritishFailedAesthetic @daydeeo

And together you all make the perfect trio, like the Triune God, with Christ right in the center!
