Pressure for marriage

my gf from india who is illegal here in the UK is reallt good to me. its been over a year and shes pressuring me for marriage

i dont feel ready and shes giving me ultimatums

Never be pressured into marriage. It’s hard enough without going into it for the wrong reasons. Could it be she’s trying to secure her place over here and that’s why she’s applying the pressure.
Just explain you’re still young and don’t wish to rush into such a big decision. What about getting engaged, at least then if things don’t work out it’s easier to end than a marriage.
