I find it interesting that in the USA you can only have one spouse but...

There is no limit to the number of concubines (others living with you in the function of a spouse but without any legal protections). By the time the prenups are signed the legal spouse is likely in essence a concubine anyway so why even bother hetting married if there are no children by the couple.

Not being a resident of America I wont venture an opinion of whether the idea of a male keeping multiple women under one roof is popular. I am aware that in my country, the idea that keeping two women at all is twice the cost of keeping one, plus travelling expenses. And who needs that much trouble.?😷
