Definitely not. Kids take up a lot of time, money, energy, everything.
For me personally, I dreamt of having several years with a partner before even talking about having kids. Now, sadly I'm at the stage of planning my life without either, however, nonetheless, I'd definitely still want time with just her before either of us worried about trying to raise a kid.
It's a bit selfish, but I'd want time with just me and her. Once there's a kid, the kid comes first. It's kinda a sad reality but I've never really been anyone's first or most important, except to perhaps my mother until she had a daughter. I wouldn't want to give that up soon after acquiring it.

Not at all.
It's natural to want intimate connection with another.
But with climate change likely to accelerate (because not enough is being done to slow it down) this is not a good world to bring kids into.
