I'm one of those people. My husband and I have an incredible bond that has gotten us through incredibly difficult things. This is also not our first marriage for either of us. I think maturity and stability makes a huge difference when you marry in the first place.

They set the bar high.

My grandmother gets so upset when she sees people spending a lot of money on a wedding. My grandparents were married on a Wednesday morning (8 AM) and only had a best man and maid of honor in attendance. Then, the best man and maid of honor got married after them at 8:30 AM 😊
