@lulaluboo they already have them, which is pretty stupid and unimaginative. Now "homophobic" pride, on the other hand, would be something very different
@lulaluboo yeah that’s bc straight people have never been discriminated against for their sexuality. People use Pride as an outlet to feel accepted. A lot of us are disowned by our families/friends so being around people who can relate is a breath of fresh air. But sure, go have your straight pride because you don’t understand what it’s actually about.
@ugholivia This is the human race we are talking about. We discriminate against everyone because that’s our nature it seems. It’s not the victimization olympics even bough kids now day want to say who has it worse than others for some reason.
I can’t take a guy in a rainbow morph suit covered in dildos or a “non-binary” chick with hairy armpits wearing dominatrix attire in front of children seriously as being “oppressed”
Now a man being tossed off a 5 story building in Aleppo or beheaded for being gay... He is oppressed.
@VictoryOrValhalla Yeah that’s because those people aren’t typically lgbt. They’re attention seekers and want oppression points from anywhere they can get them. Non-binary isn’t real. Whether that means faking mental illness, sexuality, etc. The freaks of this community don’t represent us all. We shouldn’t need to be killed to be oppressed. I was kicked out of my house at 15 and my father beat the shit out of me for my sexuality. I wouldn’t call my situation the worst but it’s far from what a straight person would go through.
@ugholivia one of my fellow dispatchers is gay and hates the lgbt because it does far from normalizing homosexuality.
And to compare treatment between someone who is gay vs someone who is not is very unclassy.
To say you’re dad beat you b cause you’re gay or what have you and to compare to someone you don’t know and claim because they’re straight they don’t have an issue. To take the time to compare abuse solely On sexuality is disgusting. Everyone has a form of challenges and issues but to narrow it down is spineless
And the gays in the US don’t get sent to concentration camps like they do in Chechnya or behdeaded like they do in the Middle East is all I’m saying @ugholivia
