I Want a Lover Who Is Also My Best Friend

My girlfriend broke up with me a few months ago, but I still love her so much and will always be her best friend. To this day, we still talk everyday, and tonight was so wonderful. It just made me realize how much I truly love her, and I told her that. It made her really happy to hear that, and she said she loved me too.

I know that days or nights like this can't happen all the time, but my god I made sure to make the most of it. I know that we're not going to get back together anytime in the foreseeable future, but I'll always be there for her. The thing about loving someone is that you'll still love them no matter what. She's a great person and an even more wonderful lover, and I know I met someone truly special. We may not be a couple, but we're definitely together.

Tonight has been a really long night, not to mention an exciting one too, so I'm gonna go to bed. I really hope things can go this well in future days, but even if it doesn't, I know that she still loves and cares for me. That's enough for me. She's enough for me
