NO MORE DAMAGE, NO MORE GAMES

I want to say something to the person who was involved in this situation, but also to my wife, because she is the one who matters most in all of this. To the woman"Devil" who bacame part of this mess: what happened between us should never have happened. I allowed myself to make a choice that went against everything I stand for, and it created a painful chain reaction in my marriage. While you were part of how this started, the responsibility is ultimately mine. I should never have opened that door, and I regret that deeply. To my wife: I'm so sorry for bringing this into our lives. I'm sorry for the hurt, the doubt, the anger-every emotional wound I've caused. You didn't deserve any of this. I love you, I care about you and I hate that I let someone else come between us, even for a moment. I can't change what happened, but I can own my mistakes. And I want you to know that my heart is with you, and only you. I'm committed to fixing what I broke and proving that you mean more to me than anything. I LOVE YOU!!! ❤

Was this before or after your wife found out? Just curious. The question naturally runs in my mind, why you made the choice to betray her in the first place. Not being mean. I just wondered, because you weren't thinking of her at the time you made the choice to betray her, so are you saying you're sorry because you betrayed her or because you got caught? Or is it that you told her before you thought you would get caught? Or did you tell her in case you got caught? This is why the motive is important, and to think before we act on things and the hurt it will cause others. I'm just saying it's important to tell ourselves the truth, but not saying you're not. I'm wondering why you felt you had to make this public. Why not just write the person whom you had an affair with, in private? Why humiliate your wife with this public display? Isn't she hurt enough? I don't think you can say the other woman is a devil, because it takes two to tango. It took your consent to her advances. She's not the only guilty party.
