How do you feel about traditional housewives?

I wish more women could be housewives. I enjoy being a kind, sweet encouraging wife. I get to take care of my family and protect them. I get to provide them things like a clean home, homemade meals and lots of love. I love it. I feel housewives get a bad rap.

I really like the idea. Sadly most families can't afford to have the wife stay home. ☹
@Musicman I'm certainly blessed that we own our own business and my husband is a very hard working man. We've started from scratch to accomplish our goals. It's definitely not easy, but it's what we wanted and it's worth it.

@Promises Congratulations and well done. Does your husband have the time to interact with the family or does he work all the time?
@Musicman He interacts. I do help him with our business. Sundays are our family day. He's home on evenings and if he travels I go with him. I realize not everyone gets this opportunity. I wish other ladies could live this way too.

@Promises So what happens to the kids while the two of you travel?
@Musicman We don't have them. We are however looking into adoption. Then we will bring them along😉

@Promises Even during the school year? Can't you have children of your own?
@Musicman Sadly I have never been able to have children, but I will always have hope. I'm just grateful for what I do have.

@Promises My wife couldn't have children either. I definitely feel for you 💔😢
@Musicman Thank you for sharing that with me. It is a deep sorrow I carry within my soul, but I stopped letting it bother me. I try to embrace life and be a momma to those that feel lost, that need guidance, a hug and love. I didn't have those things growing up and if I can be a positive influence for any child, I damn well will. I know I have a purpose and I know my calling. I'm deeply sorry for you both. That's a pain that not many express or share. God bless you.

@Promises Thank you very much 😊 She was honest in our first two weeks of dating and told me she couldn't have kids. Over the years I have felt so bad for her. She had the mommy bug quite bad. We tried adopting, but it isn't easy and it's very expensive. I truly wish you all the best. 🙏
@Musicman We feel that sting too. It's like a part of me will never fully be a woman, but I know that's not true. It's the devil putting that thought in my mind. I appreciate this more than you know. Thank you.
