I once (and only once) met someone on Plenty of fish, a local. We talked often for the first week and a half but then I dumped her without ever meeting face to face. She ended up turning me off by her lack of mature conversational skills not to mention her addiction to a computer game(World of Warcraft) kept postponing an actual date.
I think it was a deal-breaker for her that I don't play it, the deal-breaker for me was her complete lack of involvement in anything more significant than a game. She was actually older than myself by a few years.

@Anonymartyr My travel plans have been delayed due to the US-Canadian border closure. But it'll happen.

@TheFlippantSide I am unable to travel at all. But I live right on the border of Detroit/Windsor on the Canadian side and my apartment is close to the river not far from the tunnel.

@TheFlippantSide Thanks Yes, I'm a bit bummed because it isn't going to be this year at all, and the April visit marked six months apart. I can only hope sooner, rather than later

@TheFlippantSide I wish I had more to look forward to than moping around with my walker, alone this summer. Windsor summers are nearly all sun and 100 degree weather.
