I Believe Long Distance Relationship Can Work

Contrary to the belief, it won't.

LDR has timeframe.
Meet in 6 months after romance develops and it may prosper but when anyone involved procrastinates, it can't last.

Hey, you cannot be in LDR for so long. Crazy.

It works, if a plan is set in place to close the distance in the (preferably) near future. My experience with it is a success, for example. LDR for about two years, now we live together; he's from England and I'm in Australia. I don't think LDR's are for everyone, and sometimes I'm still surprised it's worked out for me, but it has so I can say it's rare but it happens.

@maybesomeday My LDR never started with a plan to get together, bit it morphed into that as life's events occurred over 2 yrs while we got to see each other once a month.. Now she lives with me full time.

@maybesomeday true romance is rare. The fiction we see in movies & story like yours can inspire anyone. So which place did you both settled in?

@1Dogma Thanks.. I DO believe that we are living a fairy tale of love.. Just sorry it took us so long to get here..
We now live in my small old family home in Michigan's lower peninsula, a ways from Detroit.

YOU?

@1Dogma My partner moved from England to Australia; we felt my country would offer a better lifestyle for us in the long run.
