I Am In a Long Distance Relationship

And they can definitely work. 3 and a bit years later we’re engaged and very much in love. The distance is difficult (we’re 4,400 miles apart, I’m british and she’s Floridian) but having plans and constant communication have always been key, as any close distance relationship. Now we’re planning to close the distance through marriage, and only money is holding us back.
The best thing is, we met on EP when she sent me a simple hello.

Congratulations to you both.. LDR's DO work out.
I, also, met my GF on EP through some comments to stories, then messaging there, then emails, then hangout (cam to cam)..
She was 600 miles away in a 24/7 live-in job, but took off every other weekend to stay in a hotel as a mental break from her job.. I could afford to drive there (10-12 hrs one way) once a month to be with her. The chemistry was there and we grew to love each other over 2 yrs. I convinced her to move in with me, when her job ended. She has been with me for 3/4 of a year now and it is working out very well..
Keep your hope and dreams alive. It IS worth it...
