Sex Education from Parents
Hi, I wanted to share a piece of my own experience growing up and learning about sex and I'm very curious to see if there are any other members of this forum who have had similar experiences with their family.
My sister and me are two years apart in age and from very early on, in our childhood, it was common for my parents to have sex in the house with an open door to their bedroom. My parents are both free-spirits and have always had the belief that sex is natural and beautiful and not something to be hidden or feel ashamed of. I also think that they wanted to raise my sister and I to feel the same way way about sex and nudity, so they did not seem to mind at all if we heard them making love at home, or saw them in the act of making love.
From a very young age there were times I was curious enough to actually watch my parents have sex, and honestly I do share the feeling that it is natural and beautiful. I suspected that my sister had also watched them from time to time too. It was when we were teenagers (and it kinda started as a joke or as a dare to each other), when she and I first watched their love-making together, outside the door. We were not very subtle about watching them and I know my parents knew that we were watching them.
For some families, I know that this is a form of sex education; and honestly I think it's a more productive and healthy way to teach kids about sex than letting them learn from peers or the internet or porn etc. In some ways I know they wanted us to see them because they were so respectful of each other and they were both prioritizing each other's physical pleasure and satisfaction.
FWIW I have always found my mother to be extremely attractive, and I know that my sister has also had a similar feeling for our dad. The times when my sister and I were lucky enough to be able to watch their love-making together was really eye-opening for me and it taught me a lot about sex and physical gratification. Also, if I'm being honest, it's also hot as hell. Both my parents are in very good physical shape.
Since my sister and I were in different stages of puberty and our own physical maturity at that time, it was natural that we would watch and masturbate or pleasure each other. We have talked with our parents about sex and, for what it's worth, we currently have a sexual relationship with both our parents. I've been in a sexual relationship with my mother for several years now and my sister has had regular sex with my dad as well. The four of us have done all sorts of things together, swapping and stimulating each other however we please. I can go into more detail about that some other time, but what I'm really curious about here is how other families who practice incest learned or taught sex education. I think learning from one's parents is the best way to be introduced to sex and pleasure as a young person, but I know how it's considered so taboo in mainstream culture.
