@SW-User Not in the slightest. You could argue that some of the subliminal personality traits that I loved in her mum were also in her too.
You could also argue that is why we get on with one child better than another, even though you love them all.
But, whatever. It is what it is. We fell in love and got married. We're happy.

@Lanie78 It is odd, but yes. I only saw my to-be wife, occasionally, on weekends (she was with her dad during the week) and was very much the stroppy teenager.
...and, obviously, I had cheated on her mum so that made her mum wary. I understood that. But we're close friends now, not just mother-in-law/son-in-law.
