Good question! It’s said God gives that burden that each one is able to cope with.
Maybe, it’s only a matter of believing in oneself strength.

@kingkyri We are not like any other animal. Our rational brain enable us to hang us on past and future. Any past experience leaves a track that affects our present and future for good or bad.
Then, we are somehow determinated by our genes to be more or less resilient. There are researches on that with very little kids that seem to show it. Maybe, impulse control and other areas of brain related to decision taking have to do with it.
Along with past experiences of course.
There’s here a well-known psychiatrists who use to say that childhood is the playground we will have to play the rest of our lives.
I have seen lately a couple of episodes about those people with morbid obesity. There’s a part in them that resist to die but there’s another one for self-destruction. Many of them, suffered terrible childhood experiences.

Life seems to be just about narcissism, 'carpe diem' and 'you only live once' these days. Only short-time results matter, so the easiest thing to do is caring only about here and now.

Well if you think about it we've built a society based on exploitation. I try not to self destruct because I think that's not the solution but I can see a person getting tired of being nice also.

It's easier.
We pick it up somewhere along the way.
You can't hurt me more than I hurt myself...Lot of reasons.

@kingkyri I keep getting reminded that I'm uneducated so I'd have to hazard a guess......amount of cheese in prepacked cheese sandwiches, how the producer stacks it at the front to give a false impression of quantity?
