I Need Emotional Intimacy

Why are so many guys just into looks? I mean I know it's been talked about ad nauseum but I just don't get it. When I was still married I went out with my girlfriends and guys used to pay more attention to me. It was nice, but I felt really bad for the other girls, and besides I was married. Any sincere comments would be appreciated.

The way I see it, physical attraction is the first impression. It's human nature to be drawn to what we see as favorable. You have to know somebody to be emotionally attracted to them. It's a natural phenomenon that unfortunately tends to dictate life for many people.
