I Need Emotional Intimacy

Why are so many guys just into looks? I mean I know it's been talked about ad nauseum but I just don't get it. When I was still married I went out with my girlfriends and guys used to pay more attention to me. It was nice, but I felt really bad for the other girls, and besides I was married. Any sincere comments would be appreciated.

You can't really control what others do. And they were drinking, so less control there. Also, the bar and club scene is going to be about being more superfluous, so that shouldn't be a surprise.
