Good question. Life can be lived without either. In the context of the question, the real question is which one is the greater loss. Personally, honestly, I can be indifferent to both. There is a vast variety of love and physical intimacy. However, nothing is better or greater than the love I have for myself and my Creator. Since I have transcended this reality spiritually and very comfortable with it, I would have to say that agape love is the most important. Physically love is only an extension of primal love. The most base type of love.
