@Strictgram unfortunately caning has never actually worked in disciplining as it has only made the punished turn up as rogues and local heros. It's become just an act of savagery creating maniacs.

@Strictgram 😀😀 I am a Singaporean and I know how things are. For the way you project, there should be NO CRIME. Obviously Caning or Punishments have never brought the desired results. And hope you are aware there is no press freedom in Singapore and you may not know how things are suppressed since press is wholly owned by the government.

@in10RjFox No country can ever have zero crime. The undisputed fact is that Singapore has an extremely low crime rate.
Also, without doubt is high student test scores.

@Strictgram what you do not know is how singapore is used as a hub for crime in the region. Don't talk by just reading the news and statistics. All that glitters is not gold. Most travellers just visit for a short time and Singapore is very good in giving a good impression to them, because they never get the opportunity to see things outside the tourist circuit.
